Empty Bowls has attracted growing numbers of North Texans to this annual Downtown Dallas luncheon that combines delicious cuisine with handmade art – all to benefit the North Texas Food Bank’s hunger relief efforts.
For a ticket donation of $25 in advance or $30 at the door, guests can enjoy any of the soups, breads and desserts provided by more than twenty select restaurants, and go home with a hand crafted bowl created by an area artisan. While savoring the luncheon delicacies, Young Strings of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra entertain in the beautiful atrium of the Meyerson Symphony Center
"I've been attending this event every year for the past 5 years - and tell lots of other people about it, too. This is my favorite charity event of the year - plus a great cause! I can't wait to see which bowl I select!"
