Donnye Shelby
Comptroller

Donnye Shelby serves the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) as Comptroller and is responsible for the financial management of the Food Bank’s financial assets and the human resources activities associated personnel polices, procedures and employee relations.

Prior to accepting an accounting position with NTFB in 1993, Donnye was a Staff Accountant II-Senior at the Dallas Accounting Office of the McDonald Corporation for over five years.  During his tenure at the McDonald Corporation, he was responsible for the financial management of company-owned and operated restaurants located in Texas, Colorado, Louisiana, and Nevada.

Currently, Donnye resides in Mesquite with his wife, a teenage son and a daughter who attends the University of North Texas He earned his BBA – Accounting degree from Prairie View A&M University in 1984.

When not at the Food Bank, Donnye enjoys fishing, attending local sporting events and church activities with his family and friends.
