Sr. Manager, Internet and New Media

The Senior Manager, Internet and New Media will be responsible for designing the user interface and overall customer experience for our websites and all internet-based communications and applications. Job responsibilities will include: Lead in the analysis of organizational needs and goals, and the design and implementation of internal and external web pages and applications; Deliver new functionality and change requests for existing applications; Consult with users and project teams to determine requirements for web pages and related applications; Perform all day-to-day maintenance of web pages, assuring pages and changes are referenced in the major search engines, and responding to email about the pages; Initiate strategies to attract greater traffic, repeat visits, and transactions (donations, volunteers, etc.); maximize use of search engine optimization (SEO) techniques; conduct analysis of traffic patterns and visitor data; provide statistical evaluations to management; Work with marketing and development staff on style and approach for all projects; Interact with other departments to schedule and manage production and distribution of online action alerts, e-newsletters and donor updates; participate in planning to make maximum use of website and Internet capabilities; Ensure message consistency and branding across all online platforms; develop and maintain site standards, editorial and internal style guidelines; Design and launch Intranet; Work with staff to continue to develop and improve the information provided from different departments on the staff intranet.

Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must have 3-5 years experience with web development languages, Including Cold Fusion MX 6.0/7.0, CFC's, HTML/XHTML, CSS, Javascript, T-SQL, XML. Experience with using Flash and/or FLEX is a must. Exceptional strategic thinking and planning abilities required. Attention to detail and tremendous tenacity! Ability to work on multiple projects with minimal supervision.

New Business & Partnership Development Coordinator

The North Texas Food Bank is seeking a New Business & Partnership Development Coordinator whose primary purpose will be to identify, pursue and secure the strategic and financial prospects for corporate involvement. Principle Duties and responsibilities will include: Analyze existing corporate donors (those in iMIS) to determine top prospects for further relationships; Set up and attend prospect calls during which NTFB opportunities are conveyed; Prepare customized and strategic cause marketing decks that reflect corporation’s community responsibility, values and mission; In collaboration with Manager of Cause Marketing, develop strategic plans for top prospects, pitch and secure partnership; Continually scan NTFB horizon for new prospects; Interface with Development, The Volunteer Experience, and Cause Marketing teams to refer key prospects; Serve as a key contact with business and professional groups such as Chambers, etc; Develop a communication tool to keep corporate partners informed of NTFB’s needs and accomplishments on a monthly basis; Serve on the Speakers Bureau, give warehouse tours and serve as a Team Leader at select Service Saturdays.

Minimum Qualifications: College degree required (Business or Marketing degree preferred). 1-2 years prior sales/marketing experience in dealing with corporate partners and in negotiating and completing agreements preferred. Ability to work outside the traditional 40-hour workweek, some weekend work required. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

IT Director

The North Texas Food Bank seeks an experienced Director of IT, whose primary purpose will be to provide leadership for and management of the instructional and administrative information technology for the Food Bank. He/she will annually review and make recommendations to Executive Management for improvement of information processing, systems counseling and guidance to management personnel throughout the company. The Director will direct the design, development, and maintenance of systems, programs, and systems software to meet management and company's information needs, while establishing IS policies, standards, practices and security measures to ensure effective and consistent information processing operations and to safeguard information resources. This individual must have the capability to build and maintain vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and software products and develops and motivate staff to effectively carry out department functions and provide for the continuity of managerial and specialized skills. He/she must maintain knowledge of developments in the area of systems and hardware and incorporate new developments into the future systems of the company and strive to develop programs and hardware systems along with staff to ensure cost-effective and current information system. The IT Director must
direct implementation and execution of new/upgraded information systems via well-defined plans including procedures, deadlines, and accountability.

Minimum Qualification: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field. Individual must also be MCSE certified with five to seven years experience in managing one or more information processing functions (operations, development, etc.) and/or through advanced training. Technical skills in programming, hardware installation, maintenance Local and Wide Area Networks.

Food Stamp Outreach Coordinator

The Primary purpose of this position will be to work with State and local food stamp agencies, advocates, employers, community and faith-based organizations, and others to reach out to eligible low-income people who are not currently participating in the Food Stamp Program or need to recertify for Food Stamps and share information about the economic and nutrition benefits of food stamps to help them make an information participation decision.

Job responsibilities will include: Identify and develop avenues for distribution of outreach materials on the Food Stamp program designed to educate low income people about the benefits and encourage enrollment in the Food Stamp Program; Communicate eligibility requirements to potentially eligible households; Understand and utilize all processes related to the Food Stamp Outreach Program; Strive to increase participation in the Food Stamp Program by identifying collaborative opportunities and fostering partnerships between network members and local community organizations, lawmakers, businesses, USDA, and other stakeholder groups actively engaged and/or interested in food stamp outreach; Ensure that monthly enrollment goals are met based on grant requirements; Administer client referral queues through on-line software; Administer department’s Food Stamp Outreach Hotline;
Make follow-up calls to clients to document outcomes of application assistance; Deliver Food Stamp applications to designated Health and Human Services Commission

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, governmental affairs, political science or sociology. Two to three years experience in program coordination or outreach, volunteer and education experience will be considered. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient in MS Office applications. Committed to organizational mission of ending hunger. Bilingual candidates strongly preferred.
